This is seriously messed up. Corey Jackson, known as Corey J or Lil C-Note, shared a video on his social media that shows him being handled violently by a police officer. According to NBC News, Jackson was approached after he was allegedly selling CDs at a shopping mall in Georgia, which he had previously been warned not to do. Obviously, that's not entirely a violent crime but for some reason, police decided to treat him like in the video below... Here's the kicker: Corey J is only 12-years-old.

The confrontation was recorded in a viral video by Corey's aunt, who is audibly concerned about the way her nephew is being treated. The police officer asks the child, "You're 12?" before proceeding to tell him he'll send him to jail. Then, after Corey offers his retort, the camera is shuffled around as the boy's aunt yells at the officer. It appears Corey was brought to the ground. For what? Who knows... NBC notes that the camera was shaking because his aunt "got physical" with the officer after noticing how Lil C-Note was being handled. Corey J was charged with felony obstruction, misdemeanor obstruction and criminal trespassing and his aunt was charged with felony obstruction, giving false ID, criminal trespassing and misdemeanor obstruction.

The entire video can be seen below, posted on Corey's Instagram page. The boy's family states they have no clue why he was targeted, saying, "He doesn’t get into any trouble. He’s very well spoken and polite. Ask anyone who has met him and they would tell you that."
