Kanye West helped Lil Uzi Vert realize he needed to swag his whole family out.

Not many people will have the chance to meet Kanye West, let alone shop with him. The rapper's maintained a low profile for over a year at this point and it seems like anytime he's seen on camera or in public, it's a rare occasion. Last week, a photo of Kanye and Lil Uzi Vert shopping in New York City surfaced as well as another photo of the two of them alongside A$AP Bari in a lobby somewhere. While many assumed they were probably working on something fashion related or music related, the only solid information is that they went shopping together.

In an interview with MTV News on the Grammys Red Carpet, Lil Uzi Vert revealed what it was like to shop with Kanye West. Uzi revealed that Kanye doesn't do too much shopping for himself but is more focused on making sure his family is looking good.

"He's never thinking about himself. It's weird. He was grabbing everything for his family." he said, "He said 'I don't even get dressed anymore, I swag out my family."

After Kanye said that, something clicked with Lil Uzi.

"In that moment I realized: gotta swag out the whole family," he said.

During the conversation, he also admitted that he didn't want Kanye West to help him pick out any clothes for him because he wanted to be able to flex his own taste to Kanye.

"I really didn't want him to [suggest clothes] so I was running away. I was always going to the otherside [of the store], tryna get my own drip." He said.

Along with talking about Kanye, Lil Uzi Vert also spoke on his recent exchange with DJ Drama, music with Marilyn Manson and more.
