The beloved "Grape" Air Jordan 5s are rumored to return to retailers next month, but they'll look slightly different this time around.
While the kicks will still feature the familiar white leather upper accompanied by hits of emerald green, purple and black, it is being reported that they'll come without laces as a nod to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Judging from early images of the Fresh Prince "Grape" Air Jordan 5s, the eyelets have been sealed shut so sneakerheads will have to rock them the way Will Smith did during the 90s. Additional details include "West Philadelphia" text debossed just below the puffy purple tongue, Fresh Prince-inspired insoles and emerald green "Nike Air" branding on the heel.
Release details have not yet been announced but rumors suggest September 25 is a date to watch out for. Take a look at early images in the IG posts embedded below.
