This brawler looks epic.

My Hero Academia came out of nowhere to become the most popular anime in the US behind Pokemon and Dragon Ball. The manga developed a cult-like following that prompted the comic’s creator Kōhei Horikoshi and production company Studio Bones to adapt it into an anime. The series has logged three seasons, and a new My Hero Academia film is also set to be released this year.

My Hero Academia follows the adventures of Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers in an era where everyone is a hero. He still strives to become a superhero though, and the most powerful hero on the planet shares his powers with Midoriya after deeming him worthy. Midoriya and his friends have made the jump from comic to television, and now they will take the leap into the video game realm as well.

Bandai Namco Games recently announced that My Hero One's Justice, a fighting game similar to Dragon Ball FighterZ, will be released in the US and the UK on October 26. Both villains and heroes will be available for play in the game including Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, All Might, and Uraraka Ochaco. Using Quirks to carry out devastating attacks and utilizing environment manipulation will be integral parts of gameplay. Nineteen playable characters have been confirmed so far.
