Donald Trump is willing to go on record for Robert Mueller's specially appointed investigation.

The biggest overarching scandal during Donald Trump's brief time in the White House has of course been his ties with Russia and their supposed ties in rigging the 2016 election in his favor. However, despite a large amount of evidence to support that theory, Trump appears to have nothing to hide, as he's stated his willingness to speak under oath to Robert Mueller, the man heading the specially appointed investigation into the Russia-Trump connection.

As per the New York Times, 45 continues to insist he's done nothing wrong where the Russia allegations are concerned. “I’m looking forward to it, actually,” Trump said of talking to Mr. Mueller, during a Q&A that was unplanned and held in the West Wing. “Here’s the story, just so you understand,” he continued, “there’s been no collusion whatsoever. There’s no obstruction whatsoever, and I’m looking forward to it.” When asked about the accusations that the actions to defend himself that have been categorized as obstruction of justice, he was just as blunt. “You fight back,” he said.

Trump won't be in conversation with Mueller for at least another two or three weeks, but the political landscape in the United States will certainly be waiting with bated breath for this monumental event to take place. It could very well decide the fate of the President's time in office as well.
