Ron Jeremy has been barred from allegedly breaking the industry's code of conduct.

Ron Jeremy might be a legendary figure in the adult film industry, but that doesn't mean he's welcome at an upcoming awards show, as per Page Six of the New York Post.

According to the report, Jeremy has been barred from attending the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and Awards after allegations of rape and sexual assault surfaced from multiple accusers. The AVN feels that the actor violated their code of conduct, a set of regulations that was instituted in 2016.

As per that code, there are bans on “unwelcome physical contact” as well as “photographs or recordings that violate privacy (e.g., upskirt shots, shooting in non-public spaces).” At the event itself, security will be on hand to diffuse any unwanted encounters or situations. There is even a dedicated hotline for victims to report crimes of a sexual nature or otherwise if they feel they've been violated.

Jeremy has denied any and all assault allegations that have come his way, telling told Rolling Stone that, “I have never and would never rape anyone." However, the actor did admit that groping was part of his job at times: “I get paid to show up to these shows, events, and photo shoots and touch the people and they touch me," he added. As for the ban, Jeremy thinks it's a unfortunate by-product of the accusations.

"[The awards] are a lot more conservative than you would think they are," he said. "I would follow the rules, but I guess they thought I wouldn’t [...] I’m not God’s gift to women. I am not saying, ‘Step back Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, Ron Jeremy is here.’ I am old, I am chunky. [But fans] want to see it.”
