The chorus on "Let's Play" feels a little disjointed, like a wardrobe malfunction getting patched together: "the show must go on." Thankfully Tracy (formerly Lil Tracy) and Lil Uzi Vert are at their very best. It's hard to say exactly what the song is trying to communicate at the fulcrum, but there are moments of true reflection that feel well earned.

Yung Bans passes his regard to XXXTentacion in the 2nd verse, they were well acquainted. In fact the whole scene was measurably close in spirit. Tracy who lost a friend himself this past year, takes a less mournful approach to his verse. The title itself: "Let's Play" denotes a resumption of daily life in the face of tragedy. Uzi drops a Sonic the Hedgehog reference so playful, it begs a second helping

"Let's Play" is the perfect embodiment of rappers messing around. In the age of one takes & live recordings, rappers like Yung Bans & Uzi have become advocates of unlearning due process. What do you think?

Quotable Lyrics:

Smokin' on this gas, little bitch can't smell it, yeah
Ten steps ahead so I cannot fell down
Yeah, huh, diamonds water like a well, yeah
Stevie n**** wonder, yeah, my pockets swelled up
