YFG Fatso, real name Christopher C. Mosley, is a 19-year-old Chicago drill rapper who was recently arrested by local law enforcement, leading to a lot of rumors as to why. Now, according to a Chicago Crime Chaser report, we have more details about his detainment. It reportedly stems from an out-of-state warrant from Georgia.
Per official court records, the "Am I Wrong" MC appeared in Cook County court in Chicago on Monday (November 2) following his arrest four days earlier on October 29. Court dockets also reportedly show his detainment as a "Fugitive from Justice" is due to an active warrant for his arrest in Georgia. As for what this warrant alleges and why law enforcement seeks Mosley's arrest, authorities haven't publicly revealed any details about this at press time.
He and his legal team reportedly waived his right to argue against extradition to Georgia. As such, Cook County authorities dropped their fugitive charges against YFG Fatso. However, they will reportedly keep him in custody until Georgia agents carry out his transfer to the state.
As such, we will have to wait for more details to emerge about this Georgia warrant to understand the whole process. Since Chicago Crime Chaser's report, no other details have emerged concerning Mosley's location or charges against him.
YFG Fatso Rumors
One reason why this situation caused a stir in the hip-hop world is because of rumors tied to the murder of BloodHound Q50. The Chicago drill artist passed away after a gas station shooting earlier this year, which rival YFG Fatso allegedly responded to online.
This alleged dynamic caused many folks to allege Fatso had something to do with BloodHound's murder. Not only that, but it led folks to speculate about Fatso's arrest being allegedly connected to the Q50 investigation.
However, this Georgia warrant explanation indicates the arrest has nothing to do with the Chicago murder. No law enforcement agencies or other authorities have indicated any sort of link at press time. As such, it seems like the Georgia warrant has no connection to that Chicago incident.
We will see if more information emerges about this whole situation soon.
