Drake has been a busy man over the past few months. Of course, he dropped three albums on May 15th. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, he dropped off his new short film, "FOMO," which is no longer on YouTube.
Quite simply, "FOMO" was the perfect name for the film. If you didn't catch it live, you missed out. While some pirated clips are making their way throughout social media, it remains true that the entire stream is going to be difficult to watch via normal channels.
This scarcity has allowed Drake to create even more hype for himself. He is in full marketing mode this year, and it appears as though this strategy has actually paid off quite handsomely.
We say that because, according to Kurrco, Drake is back at number one on Spotify's Global Top Artists chart. He took the top spot from none other than Bad Bunny.

Drake Returns To The Top
Throughout the "FOMO" short film, we got to listen to some new Drake music. There were songs with Yeat and Don Toliver, which is enough to get any hip-hop fan excited. The music sounded focused, and it didn't appear as though the tracks were leftovers.
Going into the final quarter of 2026, one has to wonder if Drake is going to be able to keep the pressure up. One also has to wonder if a new album is on the horizon. If so, then there is no doubt who the rap MVP of 2026 will be.
