Bianca Censori is a mysterious person in a lot of respects. She is known as the wife of Kanye West, who is always seen wearing revealing clothes. There have been questions about the nature of her relationship with Ye, although they have stood by each other over these last few years.
In a new personal essay for POSTPOSTPOST, Bianca Censori looked to discuss how she is perceived and why it has been frustrating for her. It is here that she reveals her aversion to doing interviews. The one time she did an interview, she couldn't even recognize herself.
She chalks this up to being "misunderstood." Censori believes people have a specific view of her and what she does, which seems to creep into any sort of discussion surrounding her. These biases even seem to infect good faith attempts at profiling her. In one of the more philosophical passages, Censori wonders if anyone will know her as she knows herself.
Bianca Censori Writes Her Own Essay
"But because when I feel misunderstood, I swing in the opposite direction," Censori wrote. "God mode. And then, inevitably, mouse mode. At night, I lie awake and feel the weight of existence in a way that has nothing to do with material lack. I feel misunderstood. I wonder if I will ever be known in the way I know myself.
Censori's essay has been making the rounds today, and it is easy to see why. It is rare that you get such a personal glimpse into her. It is easy to make assumptions about her given the tabloid stories. But at the end of the day, you have to remember that we're all human, and all have our own thoughts and feelings outside the internet.
