10 Essential Father Tracks

Atlanta, Atlanta, Atlanta.

As far as new music goes, in the rap scene, no one is doing it quite like Atlanta. Migos, iLoveMakonnen, Rich Homie Quan, and Young Thug are a few of the bigger names to pop up out of the scene recently, but Father is right up there in that conversation as well.

With a couple of smash hits alongside Makonnen, Father gained some buzz over the past years. With the recent release of his wild debut LP, Who's Gonna Get Fucked First, the buzz is hitting an all-time high.

Over the past couple years, he's accumulated a few dirty south bangers, and we thought it would be a good time to showcase some of Father's essential material. 

Father's biggest song is probably "Look At Wrist," the iLoveMakonnen-assisted trap banger that showcases one of the many flavors Atlanta is currently bringing to the table.

This is the opening track off Father's Young Hot Ebony project. It's a short, one-verse ditty, but definitely has a nice sound to it.

Imagine a world where your tears come out of your eyes as crisp hundred dollar bills. That's the type of envisioning Father is about.  

The title track of Father's Young Hot Ebony is about what you'd expect from a song with that title...

This one is super slow. The airy beat features a slurry flow from Father, another collaboration with Ethereal. 

The last song on Who's Gonna Get Fucked First? is a really, really dark one. One part Tyler, The Creator, one part Bones, and one part ATL, this is a doozy.
