On Monday night, a Baltimore protest that followed the funeral of Freddie Gray, the umpteenth black male killed by police in recent memory, attracted a lot of attention nationwide. Many news organizations have used derogatory words condemning the actions of those Baltimoreans as a "riot," but as protests in New York showed last night, many are on the side of those enraged by Gray's murder. Joey Bada$$ showed his support by joining them, and early this morning, Young Thug offered support via his preferred method: an Instagram video.
"War, rage, chaos: it's the only thing needed in Baltimore right now. I wish I was from there, better yet, I wish I was there. I would go 730 with everybody out there, I promise. Fuck the cops. Black lives matter. Pray for my people."
