It has been a roller coaster of a year for the young superstar XXXTentacion. The Floridian rapper managed to skyrocket in popularity, drop the debut studio album 17, land a spot in the 2017 XXL Freshman class, and sign a major deal with Capitol Music Group, reportedly worth $6 million dollars. However, the rapper's win streak was marred when disturbing details of his pre-stardom domestic abuse charges surfaced, leaving many fans feeling conflicted to say the least. In fact, X's career has always been plagued by controversy, and while he has managed to make it work in his favor, the impending trial has yet to occur, and anything can happen.

However, X recently went on a passionate rant on Instagram live, addressing his recent deal to Capitol records and his plans to make amends for his past transgressions. While he begins by giving props to the "wonderful people" at Capitol, the most interesting section is when he reveals his plans to donate over $100K to domestic abuse prevention programs:

"I want to apologize to every single woman that I've ever disrespected or made feel violated...I would never intentionally try to make a woman feel uncomfortable or in danger by my own conscious will so in order to show progress in my life and remorse for my remark to the people that support me I want to let you know, that I will be donating over 100 thousand dollars, to domestic violence prevention programs."

And while the rapper never directly addresses the ongoing allegations, he does continue by saying his actions have "made me feel stupid this morning to wake up and think about, I do sincerely apologize and I do want the world to know I am going to show you I care about the future for the kids! Just watch!!"

It seems like X is looking to turn his life around, and perhaps the recent record deal came with a new perspective. What do ya'll think about X's recent promises?
