During an interview on "The Today Show," Isla Fisher reveals "Wedding Crashers 2" is going to happen.
"Wedding Crashers," arguably one of the best comedies of the last 20 years, is a cult classic. Notwithstanding legendary performances from Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughan, the epic film jumpstarted the careers of Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, and Isla Fisher. Although Fisher has done plenty of films since "Wedding Crashers," murmurs of a sequel still come up in her interviews, and in her latest "Today Show" appearance, Fisher gave us what we wanted to hear.
When asked if "Wedding Crashers 2" was happening, Fisher all but confirmed it: "I bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel. So I’m really excited to see what happened to Gloria ... I shouldn’t really announce it on morning television… But apparently there’s some talk of it, which is fun."
Fingers crossed, people. Check out Fisher's interview for yourself below.
