Tyga strands himself in St. Tropez.

Tyga was scheduled to appear in indie movie "Sleight," but he missed his shoot this week after reportedly losing his passport and consequently getting stranded in St. Tropez.

"Sleight" is a thriller about a young street musician who starts dealing drugs. Tyga was slated to play the villain until his absence forced the producers to find another actor. “[Tyga] first said he’d lost his passport, then his people stopped responding to e-mails and phone calls from the producers, so they were forced to replace him at the last minute,” a source told Page Six.

A quick look at Tyga's Instagram reveals that he was indeed in the south of France this week, performing in a Cannes club, chilling on a yacht, driving jet skis, and most recently, sipping Ace of Spades in St. Tropez. The photos are included above in the gallery.

“Sleight” producer Eric B. Fleischman said, “I am disappointed . . . We had hoped he would walk on set and blow us away with his talent, but we take our productions very seriously, and when an actor doesn’t share our sense of professional commitment, we have to do what’s best for the film.”
