Fans at rock concerts usually expect artists to get a little out of hand, but probably not as crazy as Sophia Urista got during Brass Against’s set at the Welcome to Rockville festival on Thursday evening.

During a cover of Rage Against the Machine’s “Wake Up,” the frontwoman and her band mates invited an audience member on stage to receive a “golden shower,” better known as a face full of pee. It’s unclear if the patron knew what he was getting into, but he didn’t hesitate to take the stage with a can mounted to his forehead.

Folks who weren’t far from the stage captured the moment in all its unusual glory – Urista pulling her panties down, bending over the man’s face, and proceeding to pee while she continues to sing. The pee landed down on the volunteer’s face for approximately 10 seconds, and videos even show him spitting some back out.

Videos of the concert have since gone viral all across social media, even prompting some Twitter users to poke fun at R. Kelly, who allegedly enjoyed urinating on some of the women in his life. “R. Kelly really f*cked up…He could’ve had a collab with Brass Against,” one person joked. “Brass Against and R. Kelly remix coming soon,” another person added.

The band has since released a statement regarding the situation on their Twitter page. “We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville. Sophia got carried away. That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”
