Jag & Trey Songz team up on "Tap In."

Jag built up a lot of momentum following the release of his single "Kapernick Effect" earlier this year. To follow up the major single, he linked up with Trey Songz for his new single, "Tap In."

Jag and Trey Songz link up on their new collaboration "Tap In." The track was produced by Bizness Boi and Ric & Thadeus. Jag flexes his lyrical dexterity on the track while Trey Songz mixes his R&B style with more of an Atlanta trap flow. Jag explained to Billboard that the song came together after the "Kapernick" effect dropped and Trey Songz showed an interest in what he was doing.

"Trey had sent me a DM after I dropped 'Kapernick Effect' and really just showed me a lot of love for the video and the message behind it," he said. "I basically told him we gotta work one day and he told me to email something his way. I hit my guy Bizness Boi ASAP knowing he’d have some fire production in Trey's lane. After a few months of going back and forth, he hit me out of the blue one day with his number and told me to FaceTime him. When I called, he was playing his verse on the record I sent and it was a wrap after that!”
