Tiffany Haddish didn't start 2019 on the best foot since the comedian bombed her stand-up set in Miami. It was apparently so bad that audience members got up and left while Tiffany slurred her words and received boos from the crowd. The Girls Trip star didn't makeup excuses for herself, tweeting the next day that, "Yes this happened. I wish it was better Miami. I prayed on it and I have a strong feeling this will never happened again."
Tiffany has now more recently paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss the moment in her career, explaining how a friend urged her to go out that night noting that there would be "a lot of sexy guys there."
"I danced all night. I drank more than I've ever drank in my entire life," she explained. "I woke up. I thought I was dead. I definitely woke up dead." She detailed how the horrible hungover tied into her overworking herself from the whole year of 2018.
“My soul just left my body," she said when describing her stepping on stage. "And I was like, ‘Come back!’ She was like, ‘Nah!’ ‘Cause I don’t know if you know this about Miami, but that’s where the devil is, and he was trying to snatch my soul out of my body that day. He got it for a hot hour.”
Tiffany will be headed back to Miami this summer and all fans who had tickets from her NYE show will get free admission.
