T.I. is one of the names who's associated with the birth of trap music, blazing a trail for many an artist who's come up after him. With that comes stories of working with various hip-hop legends, and the rapper stopped by Montreality to talk some of those collabs.
When asked about Eminem, T.I. called him "one of the most talented, capable, intellectual technicians of wordplay that I've ever experienced." Tip added that he was taken aback with the meticulous, detail-oriented nature of the way Em put his music together. He also put Andre 3000 in the category of extremely meticulous artists, saying that both of those legends are also very critical of themselves, which is no doubt part of the reason they've had so much staying power in the culture.
