Tee Grizzley got to the Windy City just in time for controversy to blow his way.

In a video circulating on social media, the Michigan native was seen hanging out with Lil Reese and other members of his crew in a tough part of Chicago, commonly referred to as the "O Block." That area, once home to a young Michelle Obama, has been described as "the most dangerous block" in the city.

The rapper seems to love it in Chi-town though. A scheduled show of his was reportedly cancelled, but despite this, Grizz still tweeted that the love and respect between him and the "real Chicago n****s is mutual," further solidifying this stance.

However, it's not all rosy quotes from Tee Grizzley right now. He's getting flack after an alternative version of his track No Effort was released, supposedly to cover up a lyric in the original that is being perceived as a diss against late Chicago rapper Lil Jojo, who was gunned down in 2012. King Yella is just one of the members of the hip-hop community that have told him to cool out.

Hopefully that situation rectifies itself soon.
