It appears to be a full TDE takeover today. Hours after they held their 4th annual Christmas toy drive & Holiday concert at Nickerson Park in California, where Rihanna performed at, the West Coast label decided to roll out a couple videos from camp. Pretty much simultaneously as Kendrick Lamar’s new video for “Love” surfaced, TDE also released the official video for SZA’s “The Weekend,” which has been teased over the past few months.
Directed by Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles. the artistic & beautiful 4-minute clip finds the TDE songstress showing off her seductive & elegant figure, while dancing in random locations like a balcony and in an empty parking garage.
The video surfaces just a week after SZA teamed up with Calvin Harris for a new funk remix of “The Weekend,” which can listen to right here if you missed it.
