Stormzy hasn't released a ton of music since the release of his debut album, Gang Signs & Prayers which went on to win his two Brit Awards. Since then, he released the single, "Line" which was created exclusively with Adidas Original. However, it looks like we could expect a new album from him sometime soon, hopefully. Today, the rapper releases his first official single since the release of his debut album in 2017.
Stormzy is back with his latest track, "Vossi Bop," a song inspired by a viral dance move created by a since-suspended Twitter account, @NL_Vossi. The rapper's latest single is a smooth, grime banger where he flexes his lyrical muscle. It appears as though this could be the beginning of a bigger campaign.
Peep the track below and keep your eyes peeled for the music video which drops 9 a.m. Friday.
Quotable Lyrics
Gyal say I'm bougie, way too exclusive
Chillin' in Dubai, know I get all inclusive
Now, may I ask if you could find it in your spirit
To leave us all alone and go and mind your fuckin' business
Lookin' in the mirror, saying, "Michael, you're the illest"
When I'm James Bond, trying to live my movie like I'm Idris
