Sia apologized after mistaking Nicki Minaj for Cardi B following this misunderstanding up with what looked like an out-of-pocket tweet about them.

Sia has gotten herself all mixed up about Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and the two rappers infamous feud, but the singer has since apologized and tried to put it behind her. On Friday (June 12th), a fan asked Sia if she would ever collaborate with Nicki Minaj. "Have u seen this pic?" the fan asked, referring to a photo of Nicki rocking a wig similar to Sia's signature black and white bob. "Where's the collab with Nicki Minaj? We need it." Sia proceeded to respond to the tweet, seemingly confusing Nicki for her at-one-time foe, Cardi B. "I love Cardi B and although this isn’t a collaboration, I would love to COLLAB with her any day!"

The Barbz were appalled that she'd made such a dreadful mistake, reminding Sia that Nicki and Cardi have had beef for years. However, Sia told fans that they should not be worried about a feud and instead putting their energy into more important matters.

"Dudes. I also like [Nicki Minaj]. I don’t give a sh*t about feuds," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "George Floyd was f*cking murdered Breonna Taylor. Murdered. Come on let’s rise in unity. You think Cardi B and Nikki [sic] are so petty that they would want you focusing on a silly feud instead of REAL NEWS?" She went on to tag both rappers in another since-deleted tweet, rhetorically asking them if they were concerned about their feud right now to get the point across to fans. However, out of context, the tweet appears to be calling out Nicki and Cardi for supposedly reigniting their own feud instead of focusing on what really matters. “Hey @iamcardib @NICKIMINAJ you aren’t thinking about a feud right now are you? We are focused on the problem of systemic racism.”

She quickly deleted all the aforementioned tweets, and apologized for accidentally causing outrage. “I totally misunderstood a tweet earlier that has resulted in me making a buffoon out of myself," Sia tweeted. "Sorry @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib if you hear about it. Can I just like you both?”
