After treating listeners to covers of Ella Mai’s “Naked” and Tank’s “When We,” the crooner returns to his album's track list with the music video for the breakup ballad “Expiration Date” cut. Produced by Xeryus Gittens, the track is a carefully crafted ode to the end of a relationship as he takes responsibility for being the reason his woman evetually walked away.
On the hook Sammie lets off, “She gets tired of being played like she's a toy/She finds the strength to up and leave/And she wakes up and finally sees/That you ain't nothin' like a king, you're just a boy.” Catch the full clip above.
