The Oakland Raiders' woes continue..

According to a report coming out of ESPN, Raider's running back Marshawn Lynch will be sidelined due to a groin injury he may have suffered in their loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Although it's entirely possible, the groin injury could be aggravation from a prior laceration. The 32-year-old's condition has been fluctuating since game one of the regular season. Reports indicate Marshawn has suffered minor hip, shoulder, and abdominal injuries in 2018, as well as a previously undiagnosed groin injury in the game against the Rams.

After undergoing an MRI, there's a belief Lynch could miss a month at minimum, recovering from the soreness. Lynch will join seven other Raider players on the sidelines, although the team has not yet placed him on the injured reserve.

In 2018, Marshawn has been one of the team's lone "star" performers, amassing respectable totals of 376 rushing yards on 90 carries (4.2 yards per carry) and three touchdowns at the halfway mark of the season. Lynch has also caught 15 receptions for 84 yards on short yardage plays before succumbing to injury. The Raiders whose record stands at 1-5, are entering their bye week with lots of friction on-and-off the field. On October 28th they will resume their rebuild, in a matchup against another 1-5 franchise, the Indianapolis Colts.
