The word “SremmLife” represents everything Rae Sremmurd stands for -- obeying your hedonistic impulses and expressing yourself to the max. It is a word that has been in the duo’s only two releases to date, SremmLife and SremmLife 2. Slim Jxmmi even has the word tatted across his stomach. But as he revealed in the Rae Sremmurd’s new HNHH digital cover story, SremmLife 2 will be the last “SremmLife” project.
“This is the final SremmLife,” he said. “then we’re going to the moon!”
Like the first Sremmlife, SL2 is executive produced by Mike WiLL Made-It. Jxmmi compared the album to marijuana dependency. “The first SremmLife was like the first time you hit a blunt, and the second one is when you’re addicted to weed,” he said.
