Mike G recently came through with a new single in the form of "Burton," a musical ode to film director Tim Burton.
The new track, featuring Tim Burton-inspired artwork courtesy of Cyanide and Happiness animator Shawn Coss, arrives as a preview of Mike's forthcoming Exile solo effort. While Exile is set for release at the top of the year, the former Odd Future member is also readying the arrival of new music videos from his CHASE CLOUDS project.
It marks the strides of yet another OFGWKTA member, cashing in on their solo talents following the crew's official separation.
“I've had to adjust to a solo mindstate rather than the collective; because that’s what I shifted toward, not realizing that both are essential,” he previously told DJBooth. “That’s something I should have taken notice of. But at this point, I have the knowledge of what’s going on and the processes, so it’s tight to see the growth.”
