Tune in to our weekly mix of the biggest rap and R&B tracks.

There's no such thing as a redundancy in coverage. This time out, Takeoff is the cover star for a second week running, after retaining our attention with a hypnotic lead single. His solo debut dropped on November 2nd and we've been stuck in a drip-generated vortex ever since.

This week's FIRE EMOJI playlist is a coming out party for many of artists that managed to make the cut, but a comeback narrative persists for one individual in particular: a producer we daresay was "lost at sea but never forgotten." Metro Boomin made his return to the FIRE EMOJI playlist a memorable one, by coming equipped with a complete arsenal of picks, of which we chose "Don't Come Out The House," a song that ebbs and flows at the whim of a re-energized 21 Savage.

The other notable artist to steal away with a third of the piecrust was Vince Staples, for doing something that often goes unreported in this realm: an album with conceptual "map" that still bumps. Other artists that hit our radar detector this week include MoneyBagg Yo, Jay Critch, and Trey Songz.
