MC Eiht reveals that he'll be droping off new projects this summer.

West Coast purists rejoice!

The OG MC Eiht has unveiled the tentative schedule for his forthcoming Keep It Hood Part 2 project, confirming that it will arrive sometime in June according to HipHopDX.

It was last year that Eiht made his return with Which Way Iz West after taking a leave of absence to the tune of 11 years. The effort, featuring appearances from the likes of Lady Of Rage, Kurupt, and Xzibit, was a triumphant return for the west coast veteran and he’s not ready to slow up on this newest chapter just yet.

Keep it Hood Part 2 will serve as a follow up to the 2006 Keep it Hood Part 1 project. "It was inspired while working on Which Way Iz West 2,” Eiht tells DX. “I’m just trying to keep fans intrigued with simplicity in my music. I want to capture that feel good time of neighborhood influenced struggle. It was a good day kind of shit.”

He previously confirmed that Which Way Iz West 2 would be coming in August as well in an effort to keep that sound flowing through speakers nonstop. “I’m about 10 songs deep, so it’s coming,” Eiht mentioned to the publication. “I’m expecting to release it in the summertime. Just getting all the solo vocals recorded before I get guest spots secured.
