Much of Macklemore's success comes from his partnership with Ryan Lewis, creating some of the most popular songs of the last few years. "Can't Hold Us," "Same Love," and especially "Thrift Shop" had a huge impact on the radio as everybody could recite at least a few lines from one of the songs. Releasing his solo album Gemini last year, Mack has been quiet for much of 2018, ending that with his new video for "How To Play The Flute."
Unfortunately, the video is not a tutorial on playing the recorder, which I guess would have been a little too easy to pull off. Fortunately, however, the rapper is hypnotized and brought into a whole bunch of weird situations. From dancing in the clouds and hitting some "Shoot" moves to posing as a nude model for a Bob Ross lookalike, Macklemore gets into plenty of wild adventures here.
