KR's newest project, In Due Time, just dropped. After getting a lot of buzz for playing an antagonist on the modern blaxploitation film Superfly, the artist blesses us once more with his musical talent.
A few songs from the album had already been shared with fans. First came the anthem called "It's On," then KR hit us with "That's My Word." The latest single was "Pop Out," which is definitely worth listeners' attention as much as the preceding tracks.
"Just Like That" is a track that could've been a calling card as well. It shows off a more sensitive side in terms of content as the lyrics detail a romantic relationship. The instrumental even opens with a sample of a classic love song. Comment below if you recognize it.
The Los Angeles-bred artist affirms that this project offers a fresh perspective: “It’s celebrating women which is super important to me and I think people will get to see me for who I am, for the first time. This is the beginning for a new chapter for me in many ways and I’m excited to share that with my fans.”
