A few months after the highly publicized robbery she suffered in Paris, Kim Kardashian is filming a cameo for "Ocean's Eight," a comedy film about a jewelry heist.

Kim was reclusive for about three months following the armed robbery she was a target of in October while in Paris. Perhaps she has received some peace of mind in light of the sweeping arrests that were made last week for the $10 million jewelry heist, but she clearly suffered trauma as a result of the burglary, during which she was bound, gagged, and held at gunpoint. However, it has now been reported that Kim will make a cameo in a comedy film about a jewelry heist. This should suggest that she is successfully coping with the PTSD that may have resulted from the seemingly terrifying incident.

Kim and Kendall Jenner were spotted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a film shoot for Ocean's Eight, a comedy heist film that is supposed to be a spin-off of the Ocean's Trilogy that starred George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Brad Pitt. Ocean's Eight, set for release in 2018, will be more of a comedy, and the heist will be attempted by a group of females, who will be played by Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, and others.

While filming at the Met, the movie will attempt to recreate the Met Gala, which, of course, is regularly attended by a bevy of celebrities, including Kim and Kendall. The Met Gala scene "involves the theft of a high-end necklace in a museum bathroom," reports Page Six. Kim's rep confirmed that she will make a cameo in the Met Gala scene, though it's unclear if she will be directly linked to the jewelry or the theft. Kendall's role is also expected to be a cameo.

Though she might make a minor appearance, it is peculiar that Kim's first reported movie placement comes to a film about a jewelry heist. Of course, she's obviously qualified considering her recent experiences, and all the power to her if she's able to put all of the anguish behind her. In a recent trailer for the upcoming season of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Kim sobs to her sisters while recalling the robbery. She's clearly come a long way since whenever that scene was filmed.

An insider told PageSix, “We were surprised Kim showed up for filming. She had seemed totally traumatized by her Paris robbery. But then she’ll still appear in a movie that glamorizes a jewelry heist.”
