As humans, we were glad Khloe Kardashian bounced back from a troubled relationship with ex-husband Lamar Odom, only to find new love with rapper French Montana. As hip hop fans, we were looking forward to what may come of French and Kanye West spending a lot of quality family time together, possibly in the studio. Now, we don't know what to think, as reports are coming in from every which way about the current status of the newly-anointed hip-hop power couple.
First, we heard about Khloe's new reality show "Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons" where an E! film crew chronicled the Kardashian sisters' summer life in the Hamptons, and their respective significant others, Scott Disick and French Montana. A trailer for the show revealed Khloe and French eating breakfast outside in matching robes, and even bringing it in for a romantic kiss. This would lead us to believe the couple was still in good standing, but it was also filmed over the entire summer so the footage could be fairly dated.
Today we've received additional reports that give a completely different story. First, a source with apparent knowledge of the situation told E! Online that the lovebirds have split. According to the source, Khloe broke it off because French was a stage 5 clinger. The source went on to say, "Khloe thinks he's a great guy but it just wasn't working out". That seems pretty final, but yet another report today in US Weekly stated that the two were simply taking a break, with Khloe feeling like "the relationship got too heavy." That report seems to leave a little wiggle room for a reconciliation.
