Eighteen-year-old Texas native Khalid just revealed that his debut album is coming out March 3. To go along with the news, the R&B crooner released the new single "Saved."
Singing about getting over a failed relationship, Khalid says that he'll keep his girl's "number safe" nonetheless. The production includes low key drums, guitar strings and exotic-sounding keys. The melody boasts trendy Caribbean grooves as Khalid pines over his ex. He assures that he's missing her but we get the feeling that he's doing his best to forget her.
Last year, the El Paso singer had success with the track "Location." He's currently on tour and will perform at The Shelter in Detroit tomorrow, the Velvet Underground, Sunday in Toronto , and the Middle East, Monday in Boston.
