Kevin Hart: Irresponsible is currently streaming on Netflix and if you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, keep in mind that it's R-rated and raunchy in a number of ways. The Ride Along comedian recently paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! and discussed the latter explaining some of the subject matter he talks about, from having sex with his wife to her porn search history.
"I don’t say a damn thing. I just do it. She finds out when she comes to the comedy show," Kevin explained when asked if his wife, Eniko Parrish, approves of him revealing their personal happenings. "That was a tough situation in the household."
The porn bit was inspired by a "random conversation" with his wife leading her to reveal that she sometimes watches porn. "She showed me. It really hurt me. It did a number," he explained. "It was so different from what I am. Everything was big. Everybody was tall. I got mad."
Such conversations are the epitome of what the "beauty of stand-up comedy" is, according to Kevin. "Honesty and authenticity is what people respond to. You want to laugh at what you can relate to and what you believe," he said. "Nothing is malicious. It’s all done from my point of view. So it’s the way I see myself in certain situations."
