During the Emmys tonight (Sept. 20), Apple Music debuted an ad featuring two of TV's biggest stars as well as the queen of R&B, Mary J. Blige. The ad starts with Kerry Washington, star of Scandal, and Empire's Taraji P. Henson approaching Blige's house, when, all of a sudden, they hear and old familiar tune.
They can't believe it when they hear Slick Rick bumping from Blige's house and are even more shocked when they realize the music is coming from a laptop, and not an old, dusty cassette tape from an ex-boyfriend. They soon arrive at the epiphany that Apple Music is the "Instant Boyfriend Mixtape Service," without, of course, the boyfriend. Who wouldn't love to jam to "No Diggity" with these lovely ladies?
