Jennifer Lopez has taken a step back from music in recent months to focus on her television endeavors. She's one of the judges, as well as a producer, on the new dance competition show World of Dance. She's also reprising her role of Harlee on the third season of Shades Of Blue, NBC's hit police drama. However, those who have missed the soulful musical vibes that Jenny from the Block brings to the table might not have to wait much longer for some new material.

The triple threat, who recently turned 48 years old, shared a photo on her official Instagram page of a recent recording session, captioning it with the hashtag #spotifysessions. Normally live recordings exclusive to the streaming service, it's definitely an indication that Lopez has a new project in the works. No firm release date, tracklist or any other information has been made public by the singer's representatives or Spotify.

Lopez did have a minor hit on the Spanish language charts earlier this summer with "Ni Tu Ni Yo," a song title that translates to "Neither You Nor I." The song brings a steamy Latin flavor to the forefront of the instrumental mix, with J-Lo's sultry delivery only adding to the aura of sex appeal. Interestingly, her ex-husband Marc Anthony makes a brief cameo in the song's music video. Was A-Rod not available?
