Gucci Mane's getting busy this summer with a new album, new label deal, and an apparent brand with Gucci.

Some might say that Gucci Mane is wildin' out these days but it appears that he's just a little bit more outspoken than he has been over the past few years since his release. Even so, he's continued to release new music at a consistent rate. Over the last few weeks, he's released a few singles in anticipation for his new project and today, he's finally unveiled when we could expect it.

Following the launch of the #PaperworkChallenge, Gucci Mane revealed that fans can expect an Icy Summer with his forthcoming project. The rapper announced his new project, So Icy Summer would be arriving on July 3rd but it seems the campaign to it is deeper than that. "So Icy Summer name of my new album dropping July 3rd announcing my new situation," he said. This is in reference to a tweet he made a few weeks back railing against Atlantic Records. But earlier in the day, he also teased the idea of going independent.

"Gucci for President 2020 my slogan it got to be In you not on you #New1017 #GucciGlobalAmbassador @gucci," he wrote in a follow-up tweet. "It’s official I’m getting my own brand at @gucci I hope they ain’t lying."

Looks like Gucci Mane has some heat to ride out to this summer. Keep your eyes peeled for his new album.
