Gloria Carter, mother of Jay-Z and co-founder of the Shawn Carter Foundation has teamed up with eBay for Charity to launch an auction aimed at selling signed memorabilia from various musicians and athletes, to help disadvantaged students achieve their goals beyond high school.

Starting on the morning of May 15th, fans could purchase various items from famous names such as Nick Jonas, Andre Ward, CC. Sabathia, and Demi Lovato. “With graduation season upon us, I’m thrilled to partner with eBay for Charity for a special auction to raise funds for students in need. The auction includes wonderful items and experiences generously donated by our supporters. There’s plenty to bid on and best of all, 100% of proceeds will go to the Shawn Carter Foundation, so know you’ll be helping to give young people facing hardships the tools they need to pursue their education and dreams," said Ms. Carter via a letter that accompanied the video. The campaign will last until May 24th.
