Drake has something cooking for us.

There have been few rappers more prolific over the course of the decade than Drake. Releasing multiple platinum-selling albums that helped him string together a record-setting streak as far as Billboard Hot 100 entries go, he's also consistently sold out massive live shows and helped put Canada on the map as a hotbed for up-and-coming urban artists - specifically from the city of Toronto. Now, Drizzy has revealed that he's not planning on resting on his laurels in the near future, sharing a picture of a recent recording session to emphasize that point.

Captioned with a frying egg emoji, the Toronto emcee definitely has something cooking for his fans. Standing in what looks like a home studio setup, Drake is shown looking out at a phenomenal view of the Six's most famous landmark, the CN Tower. Opened in 1976, it's towering beauty and technical brilliance could be seen as synonymous with Aubrey's career in the rap game so far, which has been nothing short of dominant. The fact that he's continuing to make new music, without any lengthy time away from the studio whatsoever, is a testament to his tireless work ethic. Of course, nothing concrete is known about the project he's seen working on in the picture, with no explicit details being confirmed publicly as of yet. This shouldn't surprise anyone, given his top-secret roll out of a song like "Signs," which premiered at a Louis Vuitton fashion show.

There's also that persistent rumor that Drake and The Weeknd might soon be joining forces in the recording studio and laying down some new material together, be it just a single or potentially a full-length LP collaboration. As we've previously reported, both sides have a vested interest in making this work, with Drake making a recent comment, albeit a sly one, that he definitely wants to link up with his fellow Toronto native on a record. It's an interesting discussion to be had in the hip-hop community about what their combined studio effort would sound like, or even if their styles mesh well together. All that we know for sure is that new music from Drake is certainly in the works and it's more than a little exciting.
