On Friday, Drake was spotted sitting in the backseat of his drop top Maybach, when he decided to sing the lyrics & chorus to Khaled’s new single “Top Off.”
“I took the top off the Maybach, I took the top off,” Drake sings in his Future cadence with a smile on his face. He’s accompanied by another guy sitting next to him, but who’s looking stone cold serious in the clip. It's pretty evident he made the video for having taking the top off his Maybach.
Khaled shared the clip on his Instagram Friday night, saying that "@champagnepapi took the #TOPOFF 🔝🚀 🔥.”
This isn't the first time Drizzy has taken time out of his day to poke fun & imitate DJ Khaled. Around this time last year, the Toronto rapper jumped on social media and asked fans if “the Khaled vocals came in yet?,” which is a play off Khaled’s annoying request for a Drake feature. “Did the Drake vocals come in yet?” Khaled used to ask his son Asahd in a joking matter.
