Diddy's Stunning Eulogy For Kim Porter: "I Didn't Really Understand How To Love"

<a href= — Kim Porter's loved ones gathered together this Saturday to lay their beloved to rest. Sean Diddy Combs pieced himself together to offer a eulogy that is said to have spanned over 15 minutes. He shared details about their emotional intimacy throughout various phases of their relationship. Some of his words invoked laughter from the crowd as he shared intimate aspects of the former couple's connection. An audio clip of the speech is available after the jump.

Diddy spoke of a dark time during which Kim Porter supported him through his depression even though they were no longer romantically involved. She was simply "that type of person" who was generous in her genuine displays of love and loyalty.

"She felt like God sent her here to help me out. I'd be like, 'Girl, what are you talking about?' I didn't really understand how to love [...] She really started breaking down the exterior of any shell that I put up."

Kim's children were also addressed during the eulogy.

“I just want to say, to my kids — Justin, Christian, Delilah, Jessie, Chance, and the other man of the house, Quincy — your mother instilled in me this, that I pledge in front of everybody right now, that I will always be there for y’all. I will always take care of you. To the girls especially, we’re about to enter into some different type of times. I want y’all to be able to talk to me about everything, and I mean everything.”
