"Deadpool" celebrates a massive box office opening.

Apart from Yeezy Season 3, "Deadpool" has been on the tip of everyone's tongues lately. The movie debuted in theatres today, and is already proving to be a massive success. Not only in terms of critics and movie reviews, but in terms of numbers.

"Deadpool" managed to rake in $12.7 million during it's Thursday night preview, which puts the film ahead of fellow R-rated releases like "Fifty Shades of Grey" ($8.6 million) and "The Hangover Pt. 2" ($10.4 million), and earns it the highest Thursday night opening, ever, for an R-rated film. It's set to make a cool $100 million over the weekend, and Fox has already signed up for a sequel.

Are you catching the superhero flick over the weekend?
