“We feel good about Dak Prescott playing quarterback for us right now.”

The Dallas Cowboys (11-2) don't have any plans to bench rookie QB Dak Prescott in favor of the seasoned veteran, Tony Romo. The most recent "QB controversy" comes after the Giants (9-4) completed the season sweep of their division rival last night, highlighted by the worst performance in Dak's young, 13-game career.

After the game, reporters asked Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and head coach Jason Garrett whether or not a QB change was in order.

“No – not at all,” Jones said.

“We feel good about Dak Prescott playing quarterback for us right now,” Garrett said.

Additionally, Dez Bryant backed Prescott following his 165-yard, two interception performance in the 10-7 loss.

“It’s not his, it’s ours,” he said. “It wasn’t our best night. We all made mistakes, and we’re going to go back in and fix them. Don’t try to single him out.”

The Cowboys still hold the #1 seed in the NFC with three games remaining on their schedule, including a Sunday night matchup with the Bucs next week, a Monday night game against the Lions in Week 16 and a season finale against division rival, Philadelphia.
