Beyonce was showered in criticism for the last-minute endorsement of her political pick. She shared her championship of Senate candidate early evening on the day citizens were heading to the polls to cast their votes. According to the politician, Beyonce is actually one of the finest Texans.
When asked about the entertainer's timing of her support of his campaign, O'Rourke responded without a single mention of critique towards her.
"I am so grateful to her...She is one of the great artists of our time, one of the best people to come out of Houston and Texas. I was grateful that she supported us. Whenever it came, it was great."
Beyonce had shared photos of herself wearing a baseball cap stitched with the politician's name to express her endorsement.
