While embarking on the second iteration of their On The Run tour, Beyonce and Jay-Z have decided to kick things up a notch to the tune of nine new songs packaged in a surprise joint effort titled Everything Is Love. Yes, while most of us were busy comparing notes on the latest from the likes of Jay Rock and Nas, the Carters decidedly cashed in on their Internet-breaking stock for a new album.
Judging by the cover art, which showcases a black couple as a woman picks her partner’s afro, it seems that the thematic element of Black Love is at the center. Naturally though, only TIDAL users will be able to either prove or disprove the hypothesis as the album is only available through the streaming platform. The album was first announced during The Carters’ tour stop in London as a huge “ALBUM OUT NOW” message was reportedly flashed across the screen’s in the city’s Olympic Stadium as the couple led the crowd into a countdown of its arrival.
