Off Audio Push's My Turn 3, their fresh new mixtape of remixes, "Way Back" is an ingenious update to Travis Scott's 2016 banger. From the opening, Price switches things up by name dropping Kobe instead of James Harden.
Just like Trav's, the song is still about fake people needing to stay the hell back from the Inland Empire duo though. The independent rappers put their own spin to it by insulting industry pencil pushers. The duo is "shitting" on their signed artists while reaping all the profits. Just like on the "Fade" remix, they also take a swipe at President-elect Trump saying the "only Trump we supporting is Teanna." Audio Push shine when they are at their most irreverent.
