Anthony Davis Sr. doesn't see any loyalty in the Boston Celtics' organization.

Although he made certain to acknowledge that AD has all the agency in the World when it comes to his NBA career, Anthony Davis Sr. would rather his son not play for the Boston Celtics - and he has sound reasoning to back it.

"I would never want my son to play for Boston after what they done to Isaiah Thomas," Anthony Davis Sr. told ESPN Friday evening, referencing the way the former Celtics was unceremoniously jettisoned from the team after leading them to success in the playoffs. "No loyalty. Guy gives his heart and soul and they traded him." If you'll recall, Isaiah's spirited run as a Celtic (before they dumped him in favor of Kyrie Irving) coincided with the death of his sister. Isaiah Thomas is currently awaiting medical clearance to resume his NBA career with the Denver Nuggets.

As I mentioned before, Davis Sr. noted that while his opinion should count for something, he won't push his son into a corner. "This is just my opinion, not Anthony's," he continued. "I've just seen things over the years with Boston, and there's no loyalty." The Celtics are often listed among the favorites to land Anthony Jr. but if they were to do it, the trade would have to take effect no sooner than the offseason, due to a restriction written into the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Does AD sr. have a point, comment below?
