"I'm going to shower across the street."

Former NBA star Amar'e Stoudemire is still hooping for Hapoel Jerusalem in the Israeli Premier League and during a recent interview he expressed how he'd react if he had a gay teammate.

Here's what Amar'e said when asked if he would have an issue with a gay teammate.

"I'm going to shower across the street, make sure my change of clothes are around the corner and I'm going to drive, take a different route to the gym."

The reporter even gave Amar'e a chance to clarify those comments and asked if he was joking, to which he replied, "There's always a truth within a joke."

A handful of other players in the IPL were asked the same question as Amar'e, but he was the only one would have a problem with a gay teammate.
