DJ Akademiks caught up with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie during Complex Con which was captured in the first episode of On The Sticks. Their chop up traveled through a variety of subjects are they went head to head on during a game of NBA 2K19 on Xbox One. While the focus mostly remained on the rapper's upcoming music, they also spoke of his contemporaries. Watch the full episode after the jump.
When asked who he considers as the rap game's Queen of New York, A Boogie already had a clear winner in his mind: "Cardi got it. No Hesitation. I'm from BX though, so that's got something to do with it. I'm not even gonna lie. She got it when it comes to the whole image, look right now, everything. She got it. But I'm not gonna lie, when it comes to music, Nicki do got it, with the writing and all that."
When it comes to the title of King, A Boogie surrenders to his homie, Tekashi 6ix9ine: "I hate to admit it, but Broski got it right now. We can't even talk down on that." Boogie smiles when he defines both his and Tekashi's lane.
"I'm gonna make music that gonna make somebody cry and 6ix9ine is moving more animated and more 'I'm in it to win it, and I don't give a f*ck about nothing."
